Entrepreneurial Managers
A new wave of sustainable revenue opportunities will emerge over the next few
years, triggered by growing resource constraints, maturing low carbon technologies
and consumer demand.
However, capitalising on this opportunity - at the right time and pace - can be
daunting. Entrepreneurs need to simultaneously assemble the capital, technology,
supply chain partners, new sector networks and regulatory expertise. Few individuals
combine deep experience of conventional sectors - often a pre-requisite for building
a scalable venture - with a track record in sustainable venture development -
often a pre-requisite for securing investment.
The management team at Sustainable Ventures have extensive practical experience

scalable businesses. We recognise, however, that entrepreneurial managers with
deep conventional sector experience, are the critical component in any new venture.
We have a growing pipeline of sustainable ventures, and are looking to recruit
and strengthen the management team within many of them. For each of these companies
we ensure that our equity interests are aligned with management from the start
and continue to work closely with you throughout to accelerate the venture's development:
- Monitoring and filling capability gaps: We maintain an open dialogue
to understand where gaps are emerging; and draw on our networks to rapidly create
options to fill them.
- Taking responsibility for fundraising: Portfolio CEOs focus on growing
the business while we provide dedicated resources to lead the fundraising process.
- Providing strategic guidance: We support the portfolio companies
by providing access to our deep sector expertise, regulatory insight, venture
development toolkit and preferred supplier network.
Many of our venture concepts aren't on the website so we are happy to hear from
you if you have deep experience in any sector, are excited by the rewards of leading
